Bethany, W.Va. -- The Senators picked up a road victory on Monday evening by defeating Bethany 12-10.
Joshua Allegra led the Senators offense scoring 2 goals and adding 2 assists.
The Senators wasted no time getting the scoring started when they found the back of the net just 30 seconds into the game. However, Bethany would respond by scoring 4 goals in the first period to take a 4-2 lead into the second period. The second period would be tightly contested as the teams traded goals and Bethany held a 6-4 lead at halftime.
The Senators would get things rolling in the third period by outscoring Bethany 5-1 and took a 9-7 lead. Bethany would make a comeback in the fourth period cutting the Senators lead to 10-9 but the Senators would score the next two goals and hold on for the win.
Owen Taylor had 3 goals and
Xzavier Jankowiak added 2 goals.
Buddy Brown led the defense by picking up 11 groundballs.
Jared Foster picked up the win in net by saving 11 shots.
