Elkins, W.Va. -- The Senators weren't able to overcome a slow start and fell at home to Lake Erie 19-10.
Joshua Allegra led the way for the Senators offensively with 3 goals and an assist.
Lake Erie jumped out to an early lead by scoring the first four goals of the game in the first period. The Senators would respond by scoring three goals to cut the lead to 4-3 with 10:49 remaining in the half. However, Lake Erie would score the next six goals in the half to take a 10-3 lead into halftime.
The defenses would dominate the third period as both teams would be held scoreless. However, the offenses would flip the switch in the fourth period as Lake Erie would outscore the Senators 9-7 in the period.
Xzavier Jankowiak would add 2 goals for the Senators.
Buddy Brown picked up 8 groundballs in the game.
