Box Score SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Davis & Elkins traveled to Mihalik-Thompson Stadium Thursday night for its first women's soccer match of the 2023 season and dropped a 6-1 out-of-conference decision to Slippery Rock University.

Slippery Rock controlled the first half, scoring four goals on fourteen shots. The Rock put seven shots on goal and D&E keeper Deimante Antoine was able to turn away three.

The Senators were first to score in the second half, when Madison Rose found the back of the net at the fifty-tow minute mark off a Ciara Casamento assist.

Slippery Rock scored twice more in the second half to hand D&E the 6-1 setback.
