ELKINS, W.Va. -- Davis & Elkins dropped a conference matchup with Charleston 10-3 at Nuttall Field Sunday.

D&E opened scoring as Ari Hinton scored an unassisted goal four minutes into the first period.

Charleston answered with nearly five minutes remaining in the period and the scored remained knotted 1-1 at halftime.

The Golden Eagles continued the scoring spree through the third period and into the fourth, rattling off the next eight goals in a row.

Morgan Rogers put an end to the D&E scoring drought halfway through the fourth period on an Ari Hinton assisted goal to make the game 9-2.

Charleston scored once more to go up 10-2 and D&E scored the final goal of the contest when Griselle Rosado found Hannah Lennon for a goal with 1:16 remaining.
