HILLBURN, N.Y. -- Davis & Elkins dropped the first match of its three-game spring break series in New York Sunday 18-2 to Dominican College.
Dominican scored thirty seconds into the first period and then D&E evened the score when
Chloe Travelstead assisted
Morgan Rogers on a goal a minute and a half into the contest.
Dominican rattled off twelve more scores in the half to take a 13-1 halftime lead.
The Chargers scored three more goals in the third period and two more in the fourth.
Hannan Lennon scored the game's final goal off of a
Kelsey Corcoran assist.
Shanyn Furlong and
Marissa Cuevas each scooped five ground balls, while
Zoie Donaldson,
Kimmy Winoker,
Megan Bauer, Travelstead, and Corcoran scooped one each.
