ELKINS, W.Va. -- The Davis & Elkins men enter the 2022 cross country season ranked 4th in the Atlantic Regional Preseason poll after they were ranked 3
rd in the Mountain East Conference preseason poll previously. The Senators open their season Friday at the Panther Open at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh.

The Atlantic region consists of nearly 30 colleges who sponsor cross country between the Mountain East Conference, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
The top three at the regional championships on November 18th in Mansfield, Pennsylvania will earn automatic bids to the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championships at Chambers Bay Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington hosted by Seattle Pacific.
The next regional rankings will be released on September 13 and then weekly leading up to NCAA Regional Championships in November.
