David Pomeroy's Davis & Elkins College women's lacrosse team faced 11
th ranked Embry-Riddle Thursday night in Daytona Beach, Florida. After a weather delay, the Eagles proved to be too much for D&E taking the match 23-2.
Emily Smith scored both goals for the Senators,
Ari Hinton assisted on one of them.
Marissa Cuevas had 15 saves in goal.
Davis & Elkins drops to 0-2 on the season.
Embry-Riddle improves to 6-0.
The Senators will play their final game of spring break traveling down to Boca Raton to take on Lynn University Friday at 4:00pm.
