SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Davis & Elkins fell behind midway through the first half as Notre Dame (Ohio) used a 13-0 run to take a double-digit lead in a 74-60 road loss to the Falcons on Saturday afternoon.
Erkam Kiris led the Senators with 16 points and six rebounds as one of four players in double figures.
Donte Doleman went the distance, scoring 14 points in 40 minutes of action, while
Myles Monroe missed out on a double-double with 13 points and eight boards.
Tyler Twyman continued his strong stretch with 11 points off the bench for D&E.
Notre Dame College received a game-high 25 points from Levi Frankland on 9-of-11 shooting, one of four Falcons to finish in double digits. Drew Scarberry added 12 points, four rebounds and a pair of blocks, while Daniel Lott added 11 points off the bench and DeAnthony Owen finished with 10.
The Falcons pushed their first half edge to as many as 24 points, but the Senators answered back in the second half to whittle the deficit to four. Saturday marked the Senators' fourth consecutive loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Urbana led for much of the opening half, but a jumper from Monroe sliced the NDC lead to 10-9 at 16:03. The Falcons spouted off the next 13 points in response, draining three trey balls to highlight the barrage, for a commanding 23-9 lead at 12:44.
- After a spot-up three and consecutive foul shots, the Falcons moved ahead by 21 with 9:17 showing on the first half clock. Davis & Elkins ended the half with the final six points, coming via three-pointers from Twyman and Doleman, trimming the Urbana lead to 44-28 at the break.
- Scarberry continued his efficient day with a lay-in that stretched the Falcons lead back to 20, but Twyman nailed a three off a feed from Kiris on the next trip down the floor. Davis & Elkins rattled off an impressive 12-0 scoring surge, beginning with three straight buckets from Kiris, to make it juts a five-point deficit at 10:34.
- On the ensuing possession, Frankland absorbed contact and finished the lay-in, converting the and-one to take the wind of out the Senators' sails. Consecutive foul shots from Mandela Baledrokadroka brought D&E to within four points at 57-53 with 9:01 left in the contest. Notre Dame had an answer once again, canning back-to-back treys to move back ahead by 10 quickly.
- D&E never got closer than four as Notre Dame expanded its lead to double figures to close out the game.
GAME NOTES
- With 16 points tonight, Kiris led the team in scoring for the fifth time this season.
- Monroe tallied 42 points in two games this season against Notre Dame College. He previously scored a career-high 29 points, including all eight of the Senators points in the overtime frame, in the last meeting with the Falcons.
- Davis & Elkins posted its highest rebounding margin of the season on Saturday, holding a +8 (34-26) advantage on the glass.
- Turnovers plagued the Senators throughout the contest as the team finished with 23 on the day, with Notre Dame converting for 30 points off turnovers. D&E is now 1-4 in games with 20 or more turnovers.
- Twyman has notched double figures in three of the last four games, shooting 52.1% from three-point range over that span.
- Baldedrokadroka handed out five or more assists for the ninth time this season.
