VIENNA, W. Va -Â Davis & Elkins closed out the non-conference portion of their schedule on Monday night with a 73-67 defeat on the road against former G-MAC foe Ohio Valley.
Donte Doleman scored 23 points, including five three-pointers, but OVU was in control for most of the game behind Dylan Harrison's 25 points.
Kyle Leslie (13 points) and
Patrick Wilburn (10 points) would also finish in double figures.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Following a competitive start to the game, OVU put together a 10-2 run to take control midway through the first half.
- The tandem of Elliot White and Donte Doleman cut the deficit in the final seconds of the first half, as White made a three pointer off Doleman's rebound and assist, and returned the favor with a steal leading to Doleman's shot from beyond the arc.
- Â After a three-pointer by Kyle Leslie, Doleman's layup tied the game at 37 early in the second half.
- OVU would let a tie be as close as the Senators would get, pulling away throughout the second half.
- A late rally brought the Senators within four, but the Fighting Scots would hold on in the final minute to complete the victory.
GAME NOTES
- Â Kyle Leslie and Mandela Baledrokadroka set career-highs in rebounds with eight apiece.
- Â Doleman finished in double figures for the seventh consecutive game.
- Â Ohio Valley capitalized on a shorthanded Senators interior presence as Erkam Kiris missed his second straight game with an injury.
- Â The Fighting Scots avenged their 88-83 defeat at the hands of the Senators on November 14th, snapping a four-game losing streak, while extending D&E's streak to four losses.
