Davis & Elkins makes a trip to Ohio to square off with Notre Dame College on Thursday for a rare weekday game played during the day. Set for a noon start time at Mueller Field, the Senators will look to avenge a 2-0 loss to the Falcons to begin the 2019 season. Davis & Elkins got back to .500 with a 1-0 shutout of Wheeling but most recently fell in a 2-1 decision to Urbana last Saturday. After giving up goals on the first two shots of the game, Daniel Cerezo struck for the Senators off a pass from Luca Compagnucci in the 73rd minute against the Blue Knights.

Notre Dame received goals from Arthur Moraes and Niklas Bohlin back in September against Davis & Elkins. The Falcons lost a heartbreaker in double overtime against West Virginia Wesleyan last time out on October 13, but have collected a point in each of the previous five contests.

The Senators conclude the soccer doubleheader in Ohio, taking the field against the Falcons at 3:00 PM. Davis & Elkins recorded a point in a scoreless tie against Urbana last time out at Nuttall Field and have clamped things down defensively of late. The Senators, who have allowed just one goal in the last five games, have relied on the defensive grouping of Jennifer Panergo, Chelsi Jadoo, Hope Osborn, Samantha Cozzolino and others to stifle opponents. Meanwhile, Katie Clarke and Sierra Curtis have each seen time in goal over the last number of weeks and have combined for an .881 save percentage, which ranks 19th in NCAA DII.

Notre Dame is no stranger to ties, earning four this season, including two at the onset of conference play against West Liberty and Fairmont State. The Falcons completed their most recent road swing with a 2-0 win at West Virginia Wesleyan.
