Ohio - The Davis & Elkins College Women's Lacrosse season came to an end Sunday afternoon in Ohio, as the Senators fell to the University of Findlay 23-3 in the regular season finale.
The Senators (3-13, 2-10 G-MAC) fell behind early, as the hosts scored two goals in the first 31 seconds of the contest.
Findlay (14-3, 10-2 G-MAC) would add two more goals in the next 75 seconds to go up 4-0 inside of two minutes.

Gabby Fagan took a feed from
Kathleen Shaw to score the first goal of the game for the visitors.
Findlay answered back with a goal just 11 seconds later and then scored two more over the next seven minutes to go ahead 7-1.
Gabby Fagan then scored her second goal of the game on an unassisted effort.
Three minutes later,
Savannah Stanford scored the final goal of the game for the Senators, making it 7-3.
Findlay responded by scoring six unanswered goals to end the first half.
The second half was all Findlay, as the Senators struggled to get a shot off, being held without an attempt.
Findlay scored 10 second half goals to end the game with a 16-0 run.
Davis & Elkins season comes to a close as the Senators failed to qualify for the G-MAC Tournament. The Senators do finish the season with a program record in wins after having just one win in the previous two seasons combined.
