PHILIPPI, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins College Women's Lacrosse team's season came to a close on Wednesday, as the Senators fell to Alderson Broaddus 19-3 in the G-MAC Semifinals.
The Senators struggled early, as the Battlers scored 12 goals in the first half to take a commanding lead.
Davis & Elkins would get on the scoresheet with
Bethany Fulk's free-position effort to tie the game at one just over four minutes in.
Alderson Broaddus would score the next 14 goals to end the first period and start the second half.
In the second half, Gabby scored both goals for the Senators. After three from Alderson Broaddus to start the second half, Fagan scored with 17:04 remaining.
The hosts would grab the next four goals of the contest, before Fagan ended the scoring with a goal in the final minute.
The loss ends the Senators season in the semifinals for the second-straight year.
