Box Score Elkins, W.Va. - The Davis & Elkins College women's lacrosse fell in a 4-19 loss at Nuttall Field against Alderson Broaddus University in their first ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference game on Thursday, April 7.

How it Happened:
- Despite the cold rainy weather, D&E started off strong with a shot by Morgan Graham. It was followed up with a shot and goal by Haley Ware to take an early lead.
- Alderson Broaddus countered with a few goals and a few saves by the D&E keeper Emily Adams. These saves rallied the team to another goal scored by Jessica Kerns who later added to the D&E tally. Her goals led the Senators to a long period of offensive possession. The half ended with a score of 10-3 in favor of AB.
- The Senators kicked off the second half with a quick goal by Savannah Stanford. The Battlers then led an attack for the remainder of the half. D&E dropped the G-MAC match-up with a final score of 4 to 19.
- Kerns led scoring for D&E with 2 goals. Savannah Stanford and Haley Ware had one goal each.
