Vienna, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins Senators season came to a close on Saturday as the Men's Lacrosse program fell to Ohio Valley.

The Basics:

• Records: Davis & Elkins (0-9) – Ohio Valley (3-9)
• Winning Goalie: Alexander Naftal Losing Goalie: Luke Norcross

How it Happened:

• Ohio Valley jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals in the first 34 seconds.
• Kyle Seago put the Senators on the score board on an assist by Zach Cotoni to cut the deficit to 2-1 at the 11:42 mark.
• However, the hosts closed the first quarter on a 5-0 run to lead 7-1 after 15 minutes.
• The Fighting Scots continued their run in the second half scoring six more to go up 13-1.
• Jay Baumgardner closed the first half with a goal for the Senators on an assist by Sawyer Robison, making it 13-2 headed to the break.
• Cotoni started the scoring for Davis & Elkins in the third quarter. Ian Nelson picked up the assist on the third goal of the game for the Senators.
• After two goals by the hosts, Zack Williams scored the next goal for the Senators, with an unassisted effort, making it 15-4 to Ohio Valley.
• The Fighting Scots would add two more before Cotoni got his second goal of the game with an assist from Nelson.
• Baumgardner would score the only goal for either team in the fourth quarter with an assist from Cotoni.
