How It Happened: 
- A second half comeback saw Kentucky Wesleyan College best Davis & Elkins College, 64-61, in a tightly contested game on Saturday, January 16.
- Despite a strong first half display from the Senators they couldn't hold off the Panthers who mounted a charge midway through the third quarter.
- The Senators led 39-30 at the break with three players, Kali Wilburn, Sydney Turner and Stephanie Wooten, scoring in double digits. The team also shot 45.5% from beyond the arc in the first half.
- Turner led for the Senators with 16 points, and 11 rebounds, shooting 63% from beyond the arc. Wooten finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds while Wilburn added in 13 points and 5 rebounds.
- Kentucky Wesleyan eroded a 4-point deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter with less than 7 minutes to play to set up a close finish. The lead would change a further 6 times. Wooten's three-point attempt at the buzzer to force overtime failed to drop as the Panthers recorded the 64-61 win.
- D&E shot 53.5% from the floor in the first half but could only manage 29.2% in the second. Second half three point also dropped to 28.6% for the Senators.
