Senator Perspective
"Was a tough loss. I thought we came out flat and finished that way," Davis & Elkins head coach Gene Smith said. "We lacked a little bit of intensity and urgency. Malone played very tough, but losing is part of the game. We have been truly tested and now we are forced to grow and learn, that's a positive for a young group like ours."
Pioneers Viewpoint
"It was a great result from our girls to keep pushing on, especially with that goalie she was off the charts and she was fantastic," Malone head coach Josh Jones said. "That's a good team out there and it was just exciting for our team to push through for the win."
