• The Short Story: The Senators earned a big road win on Saturday as they received goals from Katrina Giantsopoulos and Maggie Fry to defeat Cedarville 2-1.
How it Happened
• Carly Gregory put the Yellow Jackets on the board first when she scored in the 7th minute off an assist from Kaleigh Rowlands.
• Katrina Giantsopoulos tied the match at one when she scored her first goal of the season in the 25th minute.
• Maggie Fry converted a penalty kick in the 62nd minute to give the Senators a 2-1 lead that they did not surrender.
• Lauren Hill finished with four saves for D&E in the net.

"It's great to see a team performance like that after such a subpar game at Ursuline," said coach Gene Smith. "The girls really came together and put in a solid effort against a very talented Cedarville team. It's a good way to end what is a very tough road stretch. But we will see them again very soon and our consistency game to game needs to improve."
