CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Marcus Reineke poured in 32 points to lead Cedarville to an 82-73 win over Davis & Elkins on Saturday.

Kevin Bracy-Davis finished with a double-double (21 points, 12 rebounds). Aleksandar Vasiljevic added 13 points and nine rebounds. Wesley Sprinkle and Juwan Strothers each scored 13 points.

Patrick Bain (13) and Leighton Smith (10) also finished in double-digits for the Yellow Jackets.

Cedarville converted on 31-of-42 attempts at the charity stripe, while D&E made 15-of-16. CU held a slim 37-34 advantage on the glass. D&E limited its turnovers to 12, the fewest committed since December 6. D&E translated 15 offensive rebounds into 20 second chance points.

CU closed the first half on a 29-12 run to take a 43-30 lead to the locker room. Reineke scored 14 points during the run, including a pair traditional three-point plays and two shots from beyond the arc.

The Yellow Jackets' lead grew to as many as 17 in the second half before a late 14-5 surge by the Senators made the score 68-60. Cedarville connected on 13-of-16 free throws in the final three minutes to seal the 82-73 victory.

Davis & Elkins hosts California (Pa.) next Saturday at 4 p.m.
