Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. – Kentucky Wesleyan scored 21 of the first 27 points and didn't look back, coasting to a 92-54 win over Davis & Elkins on Saturday.
Juwan Strothers (12) and Wesley Sprinkle reached double figures for the Senators.
C.J. Blackwell (20) Marcus Fillyaw (19) and Ken-Jah Bosley (12) tallied double-digits for the Panthers.
Kentucky Wesleyan dominated on the glass, holding a 34-19 advantage—including 17 offensive rebounds, which led to 15 points. KWC forced 20 turnovers, which translated into 24 points. The Panthers' bench outscored D&E's bench, 26-12.
KWC raced to a 21-6 lead in the opening half, and wouldn't let up, taking a 43-26 lead to the locker room.
The Panthers' offensive onslaught continued in the second half—growing the advantage to as many as 40 on their way to the 92-54 victory.
Davis & Elkins travels to Concord on Wednesday at 5:30.
