Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio – D&E managed just one made field goal over the final 10 minutes in an 80-46 setback against Ursuline on Thursday.
Ashley Bowles scored a game-high 18 points. Sharmaine Baker was limited to 11 points and six rebounds.
Brianna Woods (13), Makayla Rosselot (13) Erica Huber (12), Delayne Seigla (12) and Emma Ricketts all reached double figures for Ursuline.
The Arrows connected on 12-of-31 attempts from three, and 12-of-15 attempts at the free throw line. D&E shot a frigid 24 percent (15-of-62) from the field, and converted on only 9-of-19 (47 percent) shots at the charity stripe. UC held a 49-37 advantage on the glass, including 12 offensive rebounds, which led to 19 second chance points.  Ursuline capitalized on 19 Davis & Elkins turnovers, scoring 17 points. The Arrows bench outscored D&E's bench, 34-8.
A pair of Bowles threes propelled the Senators to an early 10-3 lead. Ursuline connected on seven threes as part of a 30-8 surge, making the score 33-18. Bowles and Sydney Turner drained back-to-back threes to help D&E close the half on an 11-2 run and trim the deficit to 35-29.
UC used an early 13-2 jolt in the second half to extend their lead to 53-37. D&E scored the next six points before the offense went ice cold. Ursuline scored 27 of the game's final 31 points to seal the 80-46 win.
