How It Happened:

• Stephanie Wooten posted 23 points, that included making six of six free throws in the last two minutes of the game, to help lift D&E over Concord University on Wednesday, December 16.
• After trialing much of the first quarter the Senators found their rhythm in the second quarter and lead by 4 at the half, capped by a buzzer beating three by Caityln O'Neal.
• The Mountain Lions kept it close the whole game and tied the score midway through the fourth quarter. However, the Senators proved solid from the free throw line making all 8 attempts to hold on for the win.
• Wooten led the Senators with 23 points, Kali Wilburn followed up with 13 and Sydney Turner added in 8 points with 7 rebounds.
• D&E made 81% of their free throws, 17 out of 21, as a team compared to only 50% by Concord.
