• The Short Story: The Senators pushed their win streak to seven with a 2-1 decision over the Mountain Cats. Katrina Giantsopoulo scored two goals to lead D&E to the win.

• The Senators scored first as Katrina Giantsopoulo scored in the 35th minute off a chip shot inside the box.
• Giantsopoulo completed the scoring for the Senators in the 68th minute off an assist from junior Kaitlyn Buoni.
• Jessica Getz scored UPJ's lone goal in the 79th minute.
• Freshman keeper Samantha Wehri earned the win in the net for D&E and finished with one save while Leigh Appolonia took the loss for UPJ and finished with 6 saves.
Senator Spotlight
"Always good to get a win but I think we took the game very casually. We had a lot of the possession early and created a lot of chances," remarked coach Gene Smith. "We scored two very well worked goals but should have had more. After the 2nd goal went in we let down significantly and let them pull a goal back which was disappointing."
