ELKINS, W.Va. -- Salem International used opportunistic offense and solid goalkeeping to down Davis & Elkins, 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Tomas Szabo opened the scoring with a goal just before the midway point of the opening half. Alex Costet found the back of the net in the 60th minute and Dominic Gillespie scored a rebound goal late to seal the 3-0 victory.

Elliot Cook made 10 saves between the pipes for the Tigers.

D&E outshot SIU 18-11, including an 11-5 advantage in shots on goal.
