MASON, Ohio – Davis & Elkins scored four runs in the sixth inning to top Kentucky Wesleyan, 7-3.

Brad Banzhoff notched a RBI in the opening frame and scored on a Travis Phelps single as D&E claimed a 2-0 lead.  KWC notched a RBI double in the second and tacked on two runs in the fifth, taking a 3-2 lead. The first five Senator hitters in the sixth registered singles, with Marcus Warner and Bryant Hines each picking up RBI. Houston Darling was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded as D&E went back in front, 6-3. Travis Phelps posted the game's final tally with a solo home run in the seventh.

Michael Paratore (5-4) hurled the complete game, yielding three runs on nine hits with five strikeouts and two walks.

Davis & Elkins will face the winner between Cedarville and Ohio Valley at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
