ELKINS, W. Va.- Central State shot 52 percent from the field en route to an 84-71 victory.
D&E was led by Juwan Strothers with 17 points, followed by Devin Miller with 13. Brian Dixon and Tivius Guthrie added 10, while Aleks Vasiljevic pulled down 10 boards.
CSU was led by Raheem Lemons with a double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds). LeDonte Body (13), Tre Edwards (13), Masceo Harmon (13), and Antone Byrd (10) also reached double figures.
Central State started the game 5-of-7 from the three-point line, taking a 31-18 lead. D&E outscored the Marauders 15-7 over the final eight minutes of the half, cutting the deficit to 38-33. CU ensured 19 points off the bench, compared to the Senators' seven.
The Marauders scored 21 of the first 28 points of the second half, extending their lead to 59-40. Davis & Elkins responded with a 9-0 run with the help of Bracy-Davis' back-to-back blocks to cut the lead to 67-57. CSU scored nine of the next 11 points to seize control of the game, and roll to the 84-71 win.
