VIENNA, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins limited Ohio Valley to 28 percent shooting from the field to secure a 74-53 victory on Monday evening.

Jorden Lykes posted her ninth double-double of the season (12 points, 10 rebounds). Sharmaine Baker (16) and Stephanie Wooten (14) also posted double figures for D&E.

Meghan Miller netted a game-high 21 points for the Scots.

The Senators held a decisive 53-42 advantage on the glass. D&E outscored Ohio Valley 36-8 in the paint.

OVU buried a trio of threes to take an early 13-2 lead. D&E quickly turned the tide with a pair of Wooten threes during a 14-2 blitz to grab a 16-15 lead. The Senators held a 31-29 advantage at the half.

The Scots took a brief 37-36 lead early in the second half before D&E went on a 15-0 surge, seizing control of the game at 51-37. Tajee Pledger scored six straight points during the run. Ohio Valley was never able to recover, falling 74-53.

Davis & Elkins hosts rival Alderson Broaddus in its regular season finale on Saturday at 2 p.m.
