ELKINS, W.Va. – Trevecca Nazarene scored 19 points off turnovers to down Davis & Elkins, 85-76 on Saturday evening.

Jorden Lykes (20), Sharmaine Baker (14) and Stephanie Wooten (13) all reached double figures for D&E.

Anna Mitchell led the Trojans with 18 points. Kaci Britt-Bell added a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds). Sarah Raby (15) and Paige Baugher (11) also  registered double digits for TNU.

The Senators held a decisive 50-38 advantage on the glass, but turned the ball over 16 times—compared to just eight for the Trojans.

TNU opened up a 16-10 advantage, Raby registered 14 of the 16 points. The Senators answered with an 18-7 surge, going in front 28-23. Hannah Carl capped the run with a three. The Trojans outscored D&E 16-10 the remainder of the half to take a 39-38 lead to the locker room.

Trevecca Nazarene scored 24 of the first 35 points in the second half, increasing their lead to 63-49. The Senators battled back to within seven on three occasions, but could get no closer, falling 85-76.

Davis & Elkins travels to Ohio Valley on Monday evening at 5:30 p.m.
