Box Score BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Mark Durgan (31) and Dajon Reno (29) combined for 60 points, powering Bluefield State to an 83-76 win over Davis & Elkins on Wednesday.
Kevin Bracy-Davis paced D&E with 18 points. Rashad Parker and Wesley Sprinkle each recorded 17 points. Parker finished with eight rebounds.
Davis & Elkins shot 52 percent (28-of-54) from the field. BSC capitalized on nine D&E turnovers, translating them into 16 points. The Senator bench outscored Bluefield State's bench 22-7.
D&E built a lead of seven at 27-20 with eight minutes to play in the opening half. BSC closed the half on a 19-9 run that included a traditional three-point play, which put BSC in front for the first time. The Blues took a 39-36 lead into locker room.
The Senators went in front 49-48 on a Bracy-Davis three, but a traditional three-point play from Reno on the ensuing possession put the Blues on top for good, setting up the 83-76 victory.
