ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins wrapped up the 2014 D&E Classic with an 81-69 win over previously unbeaten NAIA foe, Point Park.

Sharmaine Baker registered a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Stephanie Wooten notched 14 points and dished out seven assists. Ashley Bowles added 16 points.

PPU was piloted by Sam Weir's 21 point, 10 rebound effort.

Davis & Elkins held a decisive 45-32 advantage on the glass. D&E shot 50 percent from the field (32-of-64).

Back-to-back threes from Tajee Pledger and Bowles sparked the Senators to a 19-5 advantage. Caitlyn O'Neal ignited a 14-4 blitz by Davis & Elkins, making the score 40-17. D&E held a 46-28 lead at the half.

Davis & Elkins held a double digit lead for the remainder of the contest en route to the 81-69 victory.

D&E hosts Ohio Christian on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
