Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins earned a non-conference victory over Pitt.-Johnstown by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday.
Taylor Morton drove home the game's first goal just 46 seconds into the contest. Laia Dordas and Kaitlyn Buoni each scored a goal just over three minutes apart, giving Davis & Elkins a 3-0 advantage at the half.
Karly Staffen put UPJ on the board with under five minutes to play, making the score 3-1. Emma Davis notched the game's final tally, setting the 4-1 margin.
Ashley Winkelspecht made one save on the evening.
D&E controlled play with a 22-3 advantage in shots, including a 10-2 margin in shots on goal.
