Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Davis & Elkins and Trevecca played 110 minutes, but it wasn't enough to produce a victor, as the teams played to a 2-2 draw on Saturday afternoon.
Kaitlyn Buoni found the back of the net just over three minutes into the contest, putting D&E in front 1-0. TNU's Anna Hoffman tied the game at 1-1 just over midway through the opening half.
Trevecca's Hannah Barney scored in the 78th minute, giving TNU a 2-1 advantage. Maggie Fry responded with the equalizer in the 82nd minute to set the stage for extra time. Neither team could gain control in the extra sessions, and the contest ended in a 2-2 draw.
The Trojans held a slim 13-12 advantage in shots, including an 11-9 margin in shots on goal.
Ashley Winkelspecht made eight saves.
Davis & Elkins returns home on Tuesday to face Pitt.-Johnstown at 4 p.m.
