VIENNA, W.Va. – Ohio Valley dealt Davis & Elkins a 3-2 (25-18, 19-25, 24-26, 26-24, 15-7) setback on Friday evening.

Alexis Mourier registered 13 kills on the evening. Haylee Murray (18) and Zoe Craig (16) each notched double-digit assists. Michaela Touchet (15), Craig (12) and Ellie Drain (10) each tallied double figure digs.

OVU broke a 14-14 tie in set one with a 7-0 jolt which propelled the Scots to the 25-18 win.

Davis & Elkins busted set two open with a 10-5 surge en route to evening the match at 1-1.

D&E rallied from a 24-20 deficit in set three, aided by five OVU errors to go on top 2-1.

Ohio Valley squeaked out a 26-24 win in set four and carried the momentum to an 8-1 start in the decisive fifth set to complete the rally.

The Senators travel to Salem International on Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
