Box Score PARKERSBURG, W.Va. – Laia Dordas scored three goals in just over a 10 minute stretch to propel Davis & Elkins to a 5-1 win over Ohio Valley on a muddy Thursday in Parkersburg.
Taylor Morton broke a scoreless deadlock with a corner kick goal in the 50th minute. Dordas found the back of the net for the first time in the 63rd minute, following it up with goals in the 64th and 73rd minute as D&E built a commanding 4-0 lead. Marissa Morris pushed the advantage to 5-0 in the 76th minute. Ohio Valley's lone tally came via a Mary Salas penalty kick in the 80th minute.
Ashley Winkelspecht became D&E's all-time leader in victories by a goalkeeper with 39, following her two save performance.
Davis & Elkins posted a 26-4 margin in shots, including an 18-3 difference in shots on goal.
The Senators take on Salem International at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in their Senior Day game.
