ELKINS, W.Va. – The D&E volleyball team split a tri-match with Rio Grande and Glenville State on Saturday. The Senators fell to the Red Storm by a score of 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17), but bounced back to dominate the Pioneers 3-0 (25-19, 25-9, 25-9).

Alexis Mourier registered 19 kills to lead the D&E attack against Rio Grande. Kayla Godwin (11) and Elizabeth Estes (10) also tallied double figures in kills.  Haylee Murray (23) and Zoe Craig (20) led the way in the assist column. Michaela Touchet wound up with 10 digs.

Mourier posted 13 kills in the victory over GSC. Murray finished with 22 assists, while Touchet recorded 12 digs.

D&E travels to Fairmont State on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
