ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins men's soccer team blanked California (Pa.) on Sunday, 2-0.

James Pucci scored on a penalty kick in the 25^th minute, giving D&E a 1-0 advantage. Simon Hestad added an insurance goal in the 62^nd minute to set the 2-0 margin.

Daniel Nock made eight saves on the afternoon.

The Vulcans held an 11-9 advantage in shots, including an 8-3 difference in shots on goal.

The Senators host West Virginia Tech on Wednesday at 12 p.m.
