ELKINS, W.Va. ­– Davis & Elkins dealt Ursuline its first conference loss on Saturday afternoon by a score of 1-0.

Laia Dordas found the back of the net on the first shot of the contest just over five minutes in, putting D&E on top 1-0.

Ashley Winkelspecht made five saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season.

The Arrows were held scoreless for the first time all season. D&E held a 17-8 advantage in shots, placing six opportunities on goal to five for UC.

Davis & Elkins travels to Indiana (Pa.) on Wednesday.
