OWENSBORO, Ky. -- Kentucky Wesleyan built a 55-29 halftime lead and cruised to a 112-75 win over D&E on Thursday evening.

Ashley Bowles (17), Sharmaine Baker (13) and Jorden Lykes (11) each posted double figures for Davis & Elkins.

Karly Rhoads (32), Jade Mills-Harris (15), Kourtney Rhoads (13), Erin Dorn (13) and Shelby Tyra (10) all hit double digits for Kentucky Wesleyan.

KWC made 37-of-63 (59 percent) attempts from the field, including burying 10-of-17 (59 percent) from beyond the arc. The Panthers scored 39 points off of 23 D&E turnovers.

Davis & Elkins scored the night's first 10 points, before KWC went on a 28-10 blitz, taking a 28-20 lead.  The Panthers continued to pull away from there, taking a 55-29 advantage to the locker room.

Kentucky Wesleyan led by as many as 41 in the second half on its way to the 112-75 victory.

Davis & Elkins will look to bounce back on Saturday at Trevecca Nazarene. Tip time for that contest is slated for 3 p.m. EST.
