WILBERFORCE, Ohio.—Davis & Elkins downed Central State on Saturday by a score of 82-65.
Jorden Lykes (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Sharmaine Baker (10 points, 11 rebounds) each registered double-doubles, while Ashley Bowles poured in a game-high 22 points.
Iniquia Snell (17) and Demetria Lash (14) reached double figures for CSU.
Bowles, Lykes and Baker combined to score 65 percent of D&E's total points. Along with scoring, the Senators held Central St. to 28-87 (32.2 percent) from the field, only allowing 3-22 (13.6 percent) three point shooting. From the line, D&E was 6-8 (75%). The Senators shot nearly 50 percent from the field.
D&E held a 36-26 advantage at the half and outscored the Marauders 46-39 in the second half to take the 82-65 win.
The Senators host WV Tech on Monday at 6 p.m.
