CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville notched a 63-58 win over Davis & Elkins on Thursday evening.

Devin Miller (20) and Wesley Sprinkle (11) reached double figures for D&E.

Marcus Reineke (18), Leighton Smith (12) and Lane Vander Hulst (11) registered double digits for the Yellow Jackets.

CU held a 39-34 advantage on the glass. Cedarville's bench outscored the D&E bench 25-11.

The Jackets built a 20-10 margin with an 11-0 blitz in the first half. Back-to-back threes from Brian Dixon and Wesley Sprinkle pulled the Senators within two at 32-30 going to the locker room.

D&E knotted the game at 53-53, but CU scored the next four points, taking the lead for good at 57-53. The Senators missed a pair of chances to tie the game in the final minute as Cedarville held on for the 63-58 victory.

Davis & Elkins faces Central State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
