ELKINS, W.Va. – Lake Erie notched a 2-1 win over Davis & Elkins on Friday evening.

The Storm's Elizabeth Awuha scored the game's first goal at the 17 minute mark. Chrissy Poulos extended the LEC lead to 2-0 after one half of play. Maggie Fry cut the lead with a penalty kick goal in the 66^th minute, but the Storm held on for the 2-1 win.

Lake Erie held a slim 9-8 lead in shots, putting five on goal, and limiting D&E to three shots on goal.

Ashley Winkelspecht made three saves for the Senators.

Davis & Elkins heads to Roberts Wesleyan on Thursday at 7 p.m.
