Box Score PHILIPPI, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins blanked Alderson Broaddus, 3-0 on Saturday evening to pick up its second conference win of the season.
Ashley Muscat opened the scoring for the Senators with a goal in the 18th minute. Emma Davis tacked on a second marker 15 minutes later to give D&E a 2-0 lead at the break. Laia Margenat Dordas tallied a goal in the 70th minute to complete the scoring.
The Senators held a narrow 8-7 advantage in shots, but were able to place five on goal to just a pair for the Battlers.
Ashley Winkelspecht made two saves to pick up the win.
Davis & Elkins hosts Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
