Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. – Davis & Elkins registered a regional victory over Gannon on Tuesday by a score of 2-1.
James Pucci took a perfectly placed pass from Bastien Catrin and beat the goalie in the 10th minute to put the Senators in front, 1-0. Gannon's Alex Perri nailed the equalizer in the 29th minute to send the game into the half deadlocked, 1-1.
Lukas Grosse-Puppendahl drilled the game winner in the 58th minute off a free kick by Pucci.
The Golden Knights held a slim 11-10 advantage in shots, but D&E place seven on goal to six for GU.
The Senators return to the pitch on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. against G-MAC rival Alderson Broaddus.
