GLENVILLE, WV - The Davis & Elkins baseball team swept Glenville State Saturday in WVIAC doubleheader action. The Senators won the first game of the day 4-2 and the nightcap 15-6.
GAME ONE
Josh Kehr went the distance in the first game to earn the win on the mound. Kehr struck out nine and allowed two runs and three hits.
Matt Barr fueled the offense as he went 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Matt Moceri added two hits.
GAME TWO
Tripp Staley earned the win on the mound as the Senators exploded for 15 runs. Staley pitched six innings and struck out five.
Lance Vannoy was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with 5 RBIs and four runs scored. Treavor Dubiel finished 3-for-5 with 5 RBIs and three runs scored.
