ELKINS, WV -The Davis & Elkins baseball team defeated Concord University 8-4 Sunday afternoon in WVIAC action at Harpertown Field.

Junior Matt Moceri gave the Senators an early 3-0 lead when he blasted a 3-run homer over the left field fence.

Pitcher Tripp Staley earned the win on the mound as he struck out five and allowed five hits in five innings of work.

Sophomore Lance Vannoy led the offense with three hits and 2 RBIs. 

Junior Houston Darling added two hits and an RBI, while senior Anthony Ragoes finished with two hits.
