ELKINS, WV -The Davis & Elkins softball team dropped two games Wednesday afternoon to Concord University in WVIAC action.

The Senators lost the first game 2-1 as Alanna Jones suffered the loss despite striking out seven.  Corrine Carrington and Jenifer Kennon each went 2-for-4 while Carissa Dunn finished 1-for-1.  D&E had an opportunity in the seventh inning as two runners reached base but neither could reach home.

D&E dropped the nightcap 17-5 as Amber LaBille took the loss on the mound.  Mallory Wishard was 2-for-3 with a home run, Amanda Serafini added two hits and Cariss Dunn finished 1-for-1.

The Senators hit the road this weekend for key games at Charleston and West Virginia State.
