WHEELING, WV – The Davis & Elkins College men's basketball team drops to the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals Saturday afternoon, 47-80.

Senior Josh Wamsley (Helevetia, WV/Mountain State University) led the Senators with 11 points, while Igor Premasunac (Pula, Croatia/Utah State) and Devin Miller (Oxon Hill, MD/Hagerstown CC) both added 8 points.

Davis & Elkins shot 30.2 percent (19-63) from the floor with a 15.6 percent (5-32) effort from three-point range. The Senators made 4-of-13 free throws (30.8 percent).

Wheeling Jesuit triumphed shooting 49.2 percent (32-65) with a 9-of-30 effort (30.0 percent) from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on 7-of-11 free throws (63.6 percent).

The Senators head back out on the road to face Concord Monday, February 11, 2013 at 7:30 PM EST.
