Elkins, WV – The Davis & Elkins College men's basketball team defeats the Glenville Pioneers at the McDonnell Center Saturday evening, 70-74.

Senior Shane Brown (Columbia, MD/Washington Adventist University) led the Senators with 23 points, while senior D'Quan Lynch (Virginia Beach, VA/Bayside HS) added 12 points.

Davis & Elkins shot 46.4 percent (26-56) from the floor with a 33.3 percent (9-27) effort from three-point range. The Senators made 13-of-22 free throws (59.1percent).

Glenville shot 45.5 percent (25-55) with a 4-of-20 effort (20.0 percent) from beyond the arc. The Pioneers connected on 16-of-28 free throws (57.1 percent).

The Senators face Wheeling Jesuit on the road Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 4:00 PM EST.
