BLUEFIELD, W.Va. --  The Davis & Elkins men's basketball team posted its fifth straight victory – an 86-75 triumph over Bluefield State on Friday evening.

Devin Miller piloted the Senator attack with 25 points and a team-best eight rebounds. Wesley Sprinkle (16), Tivius Guthrie (12) and Alex Visiljevic (10) also posted double figures for D&E.

Shakir Dunning led the Blues with a game-high 31 points.

Davis & Elkins shot over 55 percent (31-of-56) from the field and scored 16 points off of 10 BSC turnovers.

Bluefield State made six of its first seven field goals to take an early 14-9 lead. Devin Miller scored eight of the Senators' next 18 points to ignite a 16-4 jolt and put D&E in front 25-18. Davis & Elkins took a 41-34 advantage to the locker room.  

Davis & Elkins pushed its advantage to as many as 12 in the second half en route to the 86-75 victory.

The Senators face former WVIAC foe Concord on Saturday at 4 p.m.
