ELKINS, W.Va--Fairmont State downed Davis & Elkins, 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-20) on Dig Pink night at the McDonnell Center.

Alexis Mourier led the way for the Senators in kills with six. Alicia Stokes chipped in with 11 assists, while Kelsey Richards tallied six digs.

D & E grabbed a 5-2 lead in the opening frame before the Falcons came back from a timeout with a 10-2 run.  From there, FSU coasted to the 25-14 victory. After a lop-sided loss in set two, the Senators battled to a 17-17 tie, only to witness the set three slip away as FSU completed the sweep with the 25-20 win.

Davis & Elkins host West Virginia Tech on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
