ELKINS, W.Va. – The Davis & Elkins women's soccer team downed rival Alderson Broaddus, 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Nuttall Field.

Laia Dordas scored the game's lone marker on a header just 11 minutes into the contest.

D&E held a slight 9-8 advantage in shots and a 6-4 edge in shots on goal.

Ashley Winkelspecht made four saves in game.
